MENA rocking stats on 2011

Ibrahim Index is a number used to evaluate governance of African countries.

- Safety and rule of law
- Participation and human rights
- Sustainable economic opportunity
- Human development (poverty, health, edu)

Since there is no strong and effective civil society present in Africa the use of index is limited.
2009 onwards the index covered not only Sub-Saharan Africa but the rest as well.
So, now I wonder what will the 5th edition of the index say after the recent developments in Tunisia & Egypt.

Safety seems to go down as the participation goes up & we'll see how the economy ends up.

I also wonder what would the tink tank Freedom House's report say for the breaking free MENA countries. Sky high censorship slowly leaving its place for the middle class rebels.
